How to Use
Step 01
Saturation
Tap your stamp onto the ink pad 2–3 times until the surface is fully coated. Ensure even coverage across the entire stamp face.
Step 02
Application
Press the stamp vertically onto your surface with firm, even pressure for 2 seconds. Do not rock or twist. Lift straight up.
Step 03
Permanence
Let dry 15 minutes. Heat set on high (no steam) for 60 seconds to permanently bond. After setting, the design is wash-fast.
Common Questions
The ink appears faint or uneven on my stamp impression.
This is typically caused by insufficient saturation. Tap your stamp on the ink pad 2–3 additional times to ensure full coverage. Press with firm, even pressure and avoid lifting or shifting mid-press.
The design washed out after laundering fabric.
Kromaris pigment ink pads require heat setting for wash-fast permanence. After stamping, dry for 15 minutes, then use a dry iron on high (no steam) for 60 seconds. Alternatively, tumble dry on high for 7–8 minutes.
Ink has pooled or bled outside my stamped design.
Ink pooling occurs from excessive ink on the stamp. Limit to 2–3 light taps. When lifting, pull straight upward without lateral movement. Test on scrap material first for absorbent surfaces.
How long do Kromaris ink pads last with regular use?
With the lid securely closed after each use, a single pad can provide hundreds of impressions. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. To reactivate a dry surface, lightly tap two clean pads together.
Can I use these ink pads on surfaces other than fabric?
Yes. Kromaris pigment inks work on paper, cardstock, blank wood, and mixed media. On non-fabric materials, heat setting is not required—the ink dries to a permanent finish naturally.
Are Kromaris ink pads safe for children to use?
Kromaris inks are formulated with non-toxic, pigment-based formulas. Safe for general craft use. We recommend adult supervision for young children and washing hands after use.
The ink pad dried out or hardened over time. Is it still usable?
Gently tap the pad against a second clean Kromaris ink pad to re-wet the surface. For severe drying, apply one drop of isopropyl alcohol to the center and leave closed overnight. If not recoverable, contact Amazon for a replacement.
